1. Don\u2019t start with Pinterest \u2013 start with yourselves<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
Pinterest is wonderful. But also merciless.<\/div>
Too many ideas at once often lead couples to feel their wedding has to be everything at the same time: boho and elegant, minimalist and opulent.<\/div>
Ask yourselves: How should your wedding feel?<\/div>
Relaxed? Emotional? Elegant? Light and joyful?<\/div>
Once that feeling is clear, the style almost falls into place by itself \u2013 and decisions become much easier.<\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

2. The budget isn\u2019t a mood killer \u2013 it\u2019s your compass<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

I know, talking about budget doesn\u2019t feel romantic. But in reality, it\u2019s your greatest ally. Couples who gain clarity early on are more relaxed, more confident, and enjoy the planning process far more.
A little trick from my daily work:
Always plan a small buffer \u2013 for spontaneous wishes or heartfelt decisions that come up later. And trust me: they almost always do.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

3. Your wedding day schedule needs room to breathe<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

One of my most important jobs on the wedding day is to prevent stress from arising in the first place.
Overly tight schedules are the most common reason couples enjoy their day less.
My planner\u2019s secret:
I intentionally include small \u201cinvisible breaks.\u201d Time when nothing has to happen \u2013 but anything can. These moments are often the most beautiful ones.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

4. Perfection is lovely \u2013 real moments are priceless<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

I\u2019ve experienced weddings where a program point was canceled or the schedule had to be adjusted spontaneously. And you know what? Those days were often the most emotional.
Leave room for the unexpected.
For laughter, happy tears, spontaneous hugs. Your guests won\u2019t remember perfectly folded napkins \u2013 they\u2019ll remember how it felt to be there with you.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

5. On your wedding day, you shouldn\u2019t be the point of contact anymore<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

That\u2019s one of the reasons couples choose a wedding planner \u2013 and later say, \u201cThat was the best decision.\u201d
On your wedding day, your attention belongs only to you.
I take care of vendors, timelines, small changes, and all the things you\u2019re not supposed to notice.

One thought I share with every couple
Many couples come to me with the desire to do everything right:\nthe right location, the right colors, the perfect schedule.<\/p>

And then I often say:
\ud83d\udc49 There is no \u201cright\u201d \u2013 there is only \u201cyours.\u201d
I\u2019ve experienced weddings that went completely against every rule \u2013 and they were beautiful.\nBecause they were honest. Because they felt real. And that\u2019s exactly what your guests will feel too.
A small story from a wedding day
I remember one couple where it started to rain shortly before the ceremony. The plan was an outdoor ceremony in the garden. Within minutes, everything had to be rearranged.
The bride looked at me and simply said:
\u201cThis will just become part of our story.\u201d
In the end, it was one of the most emotional ceremonies I\u2019ve ever experienced. Everyone sat closer together, there was laughter, tears \u2013 and the moment was unforgettable.
Sometimes it\u2019s exactly these unplanned moments that stay with us forever.
My most important planning tip from experience
Don\u2019t plan your wedding just for photos \u2013 plan it for feelings.
Ask yourselves from time to time:<\/p>

Where can we breathe?
When are we simply the two of us?
Where can emotions happen without time pressure?<\/p>

I consciously plan moments that don\u2019t appear on any schedule \u2013 because that\u2019s where the magic happens.
A thought on perfection
I often see couples stressing over small details:
the exact shade of the napkins, the precise order of events, the worry about whether everything is \u201cbeautiful enough.\u201d<\/p>

From my experience, I can say this:

A small trick from my planner\u2019s everyday life
Before the wedding, write down three things that truly matter to you on that day. Just three.
Everything else is allowed to come and go.

I don\u2019t love this profession because of the flowers, the concepts, or the d\u00e9cor.
I love it because I get to accompany couples as they experience one of the most meaningful days of their lives \u2013 calm, supported, and full of trust.
On the wedding day itself, I\u2019m often the one smiling quietly in the background while the couple laughs, unaware of everything that\u2019s being taken care of behind the scenes. And that\u2019s exactly how it should be.
My conclusion
A wedding doesn\u2019t have to be perfect.
It\u2019s allowed to be alive. Emotional. Real.
